HawkLaw was already an established South Carolina firm serving personal injury and workers’ compensation clients. The issue was not that the firm lacked recognition. The issue was that competitors were beginning to close the gap online.

 

HawkLaw needed a more comprehensive digital strategy to regain momentum in search, strengthen local visibility, improve site performance, and reach audiences the firm was not connecting with effectively enough. The opportunity was to rebuild the firm’s digital momentum by connecting the channels that influence how potential clients find, evaluate, and contact the firm: content, local visibility, paid media, technical performance, and conversion-focused site improvements.

What we improved

MeanPug strengthened HawkLaw’s digital presence through an integrated strategy that connected content, local visibility, paid media, technical SEO, and conversion-focused site improvements.

 

The content work began with a monthly plan for blogs and contributor articles based on trending topics, search behavior, and keywords relevant to HawkLaw’s practice areas. MeanPug also refreshed existing content and practice area pages with updated information and stronger keyword alignment, giving the site a better foundation for organic visibility.

 

Local search was another key focus. MeanPug conducted Google Business Profile audits across two HawkLaw offices and supported citation building to improve the firm’s local presence. That local visibility work helped connect the firm’s broader SEO strategy to the way potential clients search for legal help in specific South Carolina markets.

 

MeanPug also addressed technical issues affecting site health, including Core Web Vitals improvements. Those fixes helped support performance, usability, and the site’s ability to convert traffic into action.

 

On the paid media side, MeanPug improved advertising strategy by integrating radio with HawkLaw’s digital campaigns, building branded search campaigns, and launching call-only ads focused on motor vehicle accident and personal injury cases. That approach helped connect traditional media awareness with more direct digital response paths.

 

The result was a stronger and more connected marketing infrastructure. Organic search became the top traffic source to HawkLaw’s website, organic visitors increased, backlinks grew, and hundreds of keywords improved in ranking. The work helped HawkLaw regain digital momentum across personal injury and workers’ compensation by connecting visibility, traffic, and conversion into one stronger marketing infrastructure.
