Yitz Shapiro

As Senior Operations Manager at MeanPug Digital, Yitz Shapiro is responsible for keeping the agency running efficiently. He oversees day-to-day operations, ensures projects stay on schedule, and helps the team deliver consistent, high-quality results for clients. His role spans everything from refining internal processes to hiring to making sure communication between teams is clear and actionable.

Yitz’s approach to operations is built on clarity and structure. He believes the best systems are simple, repeatable, and easy for everyone to follow. That mindset allows the creative and strategic sides of the agency to run without bottlenecks, while giving clients the confidence that deadlines and expectations will be met.

Outside of work, Yitz trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, finding parallels between the discipline of martial arts and the problem-solving skills needed in operations. He also plays piano, with a focus on both jazz and classical music, and enjoys exploring harmony, rhythm, and technique in the same methodical way he approaches professional challenges.

He’s also an amateur mycologist, often spending time outdoors identifying and studying mushrooms. Whether it’s learning a new chord progression, breaking down a sweep in BJJ, or classifying a fungus in the field, Yitz brings a mix of precision, curiosity, and persistence to everything he does.
